got 0.016 third try so all in is pretty broken lol

hell yeah (2nd playthrough)

"here the house always loses"

The art is to know when to stop ;)

Maybe it's because I'm on mobile (also that's the fastest response I've seen from a dev)

The luck is to be there at the perfect time haha

(didn't even know it works on mobile tho !)

Nice game, but the background movement is making me queasy (both, the general background animation and the 'react to/follow the mouse'). The animation when the timer hits the thresholds is also distracting.

(+1)

Sorry about that, I'll make sure, in the final version of the game, to add the option to disable all that in the settings!

please ser may i have some more

yes sir, it's in tge planning !

(+2)

I just had to get it there

you've gambled too much !

You broke reality good job or maybe someone just like sued you I don't know

This absolutely has potential, and I have one further suggestion; See if you can synchronise the timer to the music itself. I found myself grooving a little bit to help with my timings when it lined up (bpm lines up well to 60/120 which is great for Second timings) and if that READY UP phase was used to sync the timer to the beat that would be EXCELLENT. Great prototype, All In is definitely a little overpowered, but then what prototypes don't have broken stuff.

it's suposed to be (kinda) on the music  (and it's approximate, the music is on 120bpm, and I've set a 1sec timer to synch the start on it, bimut not sure if the music loop exactly so there can be a shift if yoy play a too long)

But I didn't take the time to mach the up beat, it can happen on the up or the down depending on when you bet ^^"

in my opinion this game is very good and has a great potential but its just too short and I feel like it would be better if you were able to make it longer or maybe rebirth to get upgrades that let you have better things the next time, but overall I think it just needs to be longer but right now if I were to rate it I would rate it a solid 8.5/10

Thanks for the words! Yes it is just a proof of concept for now (Just wanted to check if the mechanics are fun, and suitable with the incremental/skill tree part), and it seems to be!

I'll definitely try to expand it (With some more core mechanics, prestige, and a bigger skill tree for sure)

thanks for responding to me, personally I think you did a great job with the game and the concept was really good and I think anybody with a brain will realize the talent you have

❤️

The latency/jitter of 3d graphics pipeline is pretty large (and even larger for a game), such "single point sampling" isn't a quite reasonable idea.

not sure about what you're pointing, can you elaborate ?

The latency from user input to actual display can take several frames and is fluctuating. The way the game works (if it doesn't "lie") depends on measuring a uncalibrated "latency", which could be random on higher precision, and more likely worse: due to systematic errors, a distorted distribution that is much likely to result in some latencies than others, on a specific system.

Ho yes, I've not taken that into account (nor think about it in fact ><" ), I'll try to get my head in it and try to mitigate that in some ways

Very cool concept, love the idea of a skill based incremental

I want to turn off the music so it doesn't throw off my rhythm with the timer, but when I turn it off, it turns off all sound.

Yes, sorry about that,  I have an issue with the HTML export, I don't know why, but I can't change only the music channel ...

I've updated the downloadable version so it will work as expected, if you want to give it a try (sorry about the security warning, I don't know how to handle that)

(+1)

Real nice idea, you can make a full game out of it !

I'll try, I'll try, thanks for the words !

(+1)

Pretty good start, I hope there are more potential in this.

Meu dinheiro ficou negativo...

Finally, a skill based incremental! Very fun game, but as everyone in the comments seems to be pointing out, very short and all in is very broken.

I'll surely update/improve this little PoC,  I'm shifting to prioritise it, it seems to appeal to people in here!

(1 edit)

So I win, right?  (The number is 12.7 Trillion)

Also, love the game, but it's a bit short

(1 edit)

I guess yes you won ! I'll make it more "playable" in a near future

fun game, but after unlocking all in option it became to easy

Very fun little game! One thought would be that the scaling for thresholds adjust based on what is bet -> smaller bet means more leniency but a larger bet ie all in makes it more difficult. Again, very fun!

(+1)

I take note, it's a really good way to mitigate the mess that "All In" Bet gives in the economy yeah!

the scaling might be a bit too fast, maybe remove or change how all in works, nerf the upgrades overall, OR have a prestige system

Hell yes,

The game, in its current state, is not meant to last more than 5-10 minutes. It's only a proof of concept to get it out of my mind, but I will definitely work more on it to have a proper version.

i see i see, i wish you luck big man

(+4)

It’s a short and fun game with an interesting concept. However, ever since the ‘All In’ was upgraded, the game has become way too easy.

(+1)

Yes the All In may be a bit broken to scale fast, I'll have to figure it out

Best time I could get without upgrades was 0.006

Nice tiny game :)

It should have an option to keep playing after getting 10k, I couldn't unlock all the upgrades!!

Updated, the Retry button is showing now ;)

i like it. the timing upgrades get pretty dam strong once you can put ~500 into them (trivialises the game kinda) but one major gripe i have is wining cuts you of from continuing.

Honestly pretty fun, although the description for the "Reduce your time by X if it wouldn't result in going below 0" and "Reduce your time by Y if doing so would grant you another milestone" is a bit weirdly phrased (I'm guessing just ESL oddities)

I rather liked it though!

Sorry, English is not my native language, and I've not spent that much time spelling it well, though...

If you have another way to say it clearly, don't hesitate

ça marche bien c'est addictif et ça nous motive à faire le meilleure temps, bon petit concept ! Avec un habillage plus casino et juicy ce serait superbe !

S'not a bad proof of concept at all. It's fairly easy to win tho, since the moment you get All In with a other upgrades you can get it in like 3 or so good goes. I do hope you continue working on it, seems like a fun incremental concept

Thanks for the words, I'll surely continue on it, I'll post updates along the way on this page
